- The development of a new non-admitted care classification system
- The refinement of the current Tier 2 Non-Admitted Services Classification system
- The application of local and international research on non-admitted models of care and classification systems that support effective, contemporary models of care
- The impacts on jurisdictions and other stakeholders of data requirements that will support the new non-admitted care classification system
- Testing and trialling methods to validate the feasibility and effectiveness of the new non-admitted care classification system
- The pricing of non-admitted care in engagement with IHACPA’s Technical Advisory Committee (TAC)
Responsibilities of members:
- The responsibilities of NACAWG members include:
- Providing objective advice based on their knowledge of classification and costing of non-admitted care activities to IHACPA
- Seeking to ensure that various perspectives are given full consideration within NACAWG
- Recognising and informing NACAWG of the limits of their knowledge in providing advice
- Providing timely feedback to IHACPA, both out of session and at meetings
- Attending all NACAWG meetings and where unable to attend, providing advice prior to the meeting to the extent possible.
